Made by Aboriginal Cultural Practitioner Djuker Hart
These handcrafted clapsticks are made from Australian Dogwood and individually crafted by respected Aboriginal Cultural Practitioner Djuker Hart.
Traditionally used to maintain rhythm in song, dance, storytelling and cultural practice, clapsticks remain one of the most recognisable and important musical instruments used by Aboriginal peoples across Australia.
Each pair has been rough-sanded and left unfinished, making them ideal for schools, community groups, cultural programs and creative workshops. Students and participants can further sand, decorate, paint or engrave the clapsticks to create a personalised cultural learning resource while exploring Aboriginal music, storytelling and artistic expression.
