Emma Robertson
I am a proud Palawa woman from the trawlwoolway people in the north eastern part of Lutruwita, Tasmania. I am an Aboriginal Health Practitioner and work full time as a Health Manager for my local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. I have spent many years working for my community and love what I do, helping making a difference to my mob.
I am a mum to 7 beautiful children, 4 girls and 3 boys and married to hubby Jason. I express myself creatively and love to combine cultural practice with contemporary methods. I am an artist and cultural practitioner who enjoys exploring new ideas and pushing the limits of my imagination.
I love to work with natural materials such as kelp, fibres and shells and utilise them in contemporary designs. I continue to expand my skills and explore other mediums such as photography and digital graphic design.
